The “Gawad Parangal sa Natatanging Alumni ng CIC” is the highest honor bestowed by the College of the Immaculate Conception (CIC) and the CIC Alumni Foundation, Inc. (CICAFI) upon the CICian Alumni, the purpose of this awards is to recognize and celebrate the many achievements of CIC graduates, both professionally and personally for exemplary contribution to their profession, community, society, and the Church. 

Minimum Qualification Requirements
 

1. Must be a bonafide graduate of any department abovementioned from 1926 onwards of the College of the Immaculate Conception. 

2. Nominees must have achieved a high level of success within their chosen field of endeavor, which is exemplify by having attained increasingly responsible positions, and have been recognized by their peers. 

Award Categories

1. Professional Achievement Award

The Professional Achievement Award recognizes an alumnus or alumna of the College of the Immaculate Conception who has achieved exceptional accomplishment in his or her career and has brought distinction to him/herself through the benefits of vocation and leadership in his or her professional community. 

2. Young Alumni Award

The Young Alumni Award recognizes an outstanding alumnus or alumna of College of the Immaculate Conception who is 35 years old or younger. The award is given to an alumnus or alumna who has demonstrated excellence in his or her professional field and/or has demonstrated service to his or her community, the public or humanity and embodying the core values of the institution. 

Awards Criteria
  • Achievements in the chosen field/discipline/profession

  1. Nominee has made significant or distinct contribution to an organization, business, or cause since graduation from the college. This may include demonstrated experience or knowledge of field. 

  2. Examples: formal recognition/awards, key projects, active involvement in professional organizations, leadership roles in professional groups or boards, or in the company/industry in which they are employed, training and certifications, advanced education and licenses. 

  • Contribution to the CIC development and progress

  1. Nominee actively participates in college sanctioned/organized events or activities and/or gives back to the college in the form of time or monetary. 

  2. Examples: Student mentorship, project involvement, alumni events, financial contribution, speaking engagements, industry recruitment, etc. 

  • Community involvement 

  1. The nominee has given his or her time and talents, above and beyond normal job expectations, in service to the local, national, or international community. 

  2. Examples: proven leadership skills or qualities, passion for interests, demonstrated integrity and ethical decision-making, commitment of time and/or experience through volunteers to non-profit organizations and/or outreach programs.

The Nomination Process​
  1. The nomination may be done by any individual. Relatives of the nominee should not be considered. 

  2. The nominee should submit the duly accomplished nomination form. 

  3. The nominee may add other information in the form and may submit documents to support his/her application. 

  4. The nomination form may be submitted at the CLAP Office or email at clap@cic.edu.ph

  5. The nomination form may be downloaded in the CIC website and Facebook page. Physical copies of the nomination form are available at the CLAP Office. 

  6. All nomination form should be received on or before 5:00PM, January 30, 2023.
