Implementing Rules and Guidelines

 

  • All discounts/privileges are applicable to tuition fees only except for student assistants.
  •  

  • The program does not cover special classes/subjects and second courses in CIC.
  •  

  • No double discounts/ priviledges can be availed of from the school. The policy of whichever is higher shall apply.
  •  

  • Application for discounts/priviledges will be entertained within 30 days after the last day of enrollment.
  •  

  • All scholars should finish their college program within the prescribed number of years (maximum of five years for one courses including children    of employees ).However,extension will be allowed only once if scholars failed to comply with the requirements due to justifiable reasons, e.g.    conflict of class schedule and hours of duty or shifting to another course.
  •  

  • Effective June 2011 the scholarship of student assistants is limited to Education and Social Work programs only.
  •  

  • Student assistants are given incentives if they become academic scholars. The incentives shall only be given for the term where they qualify for    academic scholarship.
  •  

  • Only full time CIC employees who have served the school for at least three(3) consecutive years can enjoy educational priviledge.
  •  

  • Only one grantee from each family who wish to apply for scholarship is allowed except academic scholarship, children of employees,    brother/sister of employees, family discount Scholars should have no failing grades or dropped subjects(regardless of the cause), if so, the    scholarship will be terminated. In the case of children of employees, dropped or failed subjects should be charged to the employee if re-enrolled.
  •  

  • Incomplete grades must be completed within the succeeding semester. Otherwise, the matter will be dealth with accordingly as provided in the    contract
  •  

  • Granting of discounts/priviledges to employees who have served the school for atleast 3 years will be on a school year basis (no pro-rata    discount).
  •  

  • 100% discount enjoyed by the first child of employee may be transferable to the 2nd child if the 1st child qualifies as 1st honors, varsity player,    members of the cultural, etc.
  •  

  • Discount/Priviledges of emplyees granted to brother/sister,niece/nephew, spouse and children of employees is up to college level only.
  •  

  • No discounts are given during summer programs to allumni, employees and CACES (Cabanatuan Catholic Education System) personnel.
  • The following are the terms of requirements and conditions for Scholarship (for both the Diocese of Cabanatuan and San Jose) The scholar must    submit a recommendation letter from the parish priest before admission.

  • The scholarship requires endorsement ny the Parish Priest every semester and thereafter.
  •  

  • Parish scholarship is limited to Teacher Education and Social Work Programs only.
  •  

  • Should there be a premature termination of scholarship, for whatever reason, the parish priest can only endorse a new applicant when the    remaining semesters, stipulated in the contract, lapse.
  •  

  • Scholars are required to render regular services to the parish.   • Miscellaneous fees are excluded from the benefit/grant.

  • The school reserves the right to screen and finally approved applications for scholarship. Likewise, the school has the right to monitor , retain or    even terminate scholarships (for just and fair cause), guided by the institutional policies on academics and discipline.
